New And Doing All Wrong With Guppies

Hello. I have gotten 20L aquariul as gift few months ago so I have decided to become best fish owner ever. I talked to the people in the store where I bought my first guppy and... it went all wrong. After months of getting things wrong I have decided to finally ask for help. So here I am. Be nice. I know I did wrong... That is why I am here

What are you trying to do with your guppies? Are you trying to breed them, or just keep them for fun?

I just wanted nice fishes for my aquarium. But betas always seem sad so I thought having few guppies would be better. I posted about my problems in the other forum cause its kind of a long story. But I thought keeping few males would be ok. Until I realised I created coloseum. Only one survivor. And its the same with my red cherry shrimp. No matter how many I put in the stupid aquarium only one survives. All new just... dissaper. There is no bodies. I just can't find them.

 

And don't tell me they can hide. Yes I have hiding places. But I looked like crazy for my shrimps. I keep finidng one that I bought months ago and is now huge. No other shrimps.

 

Dear Tiasshy,

For the guppies, get a decent amount of females with no males. A group of females won't fight, but males usually will. That is why they keep fighting. For the shrimp, I am not sure.
