So as some of you might know I had been searching for angelfish tank mates and have started a new 55 gallon planted tank about 1-2 month ago, I was still not sure about tank mates so I decided it'll be a only angelfish setup and yesterday I decided to get some angelfishes and ended up buying 6 of different sizes and type I've got some marbeled, blues etc. I'll post some pics in the evening and will appreciate any advice for my tank I'm posting a pic of the tank without fishes to give you some ideas of what it looks like

Nice tank! Are you going to use natural sunlight for the plants or do you have artifical light as well? Are you going to wait for the angels to pair and then rehome the rest?

If you are wanting an Angelfish only tank and want to keep multiples, you need a much larger tank. Unless you are aiming for a pair to form.

I am using a led flood light for this tank and yes I am goin to wait for the angel to pair and then rehome any 2 of them coz I'm planning to keep only 4 angels in that tank maybe I'll get another tank for the other pair

I don't think it would be a good idea to keep 2 pairs of angels in a 55. They get super territorial when breeding and are capable of killing.

I'll move the pair when they're breeding to a different tank and then I'll move them back to their original tank so there won't be any aggression during breeding
,I think that's how angelfish are bred

You'll need to constantly move them then because angels can spawn every couple of weeks!

I just want to keep angelfish but if they breed it won't do any harm I can take care of the pair and fry

These were taken during a waterchange so the waterlevel is lower than usual and the tank glass is dirty, I'll try sending better pics later
