New 55 Gallon Tank Questions

So I currently have a 29 gallon new tank that has been going for about a month now, so hoping the cycle is almost over, but I just found a 55 gallon decent tank (very dirty and I had to get a new top trim for it) for 45 dollars and with the new trim looking at about 60 bucks so not too bad compared to a new one for 140. So the question is I currently have a aqua clear 50 on the 29 so should I get a aqua clear 70 and run both on the new tank once I get it going? And how long should I wait to put the fish and everything from the 29 into the 55 with the cycle not being over yet?

Once the cycle finishes on the 29g, you can just move the AC 50 over to the 55 gallon and move all the fish at once. The media in the filter will already be cycled to the point of handling your current amount of fish.

If you are moving all the fish from the 29 gallon to the 55g, then you can just move them all at the same time. The filters hold all the bacteria, so so long as the filters are moved with the fish, you shouldn't have any issues.

its good to run 2 filters, especially with longer tanks, 29G is about 30" long vs 55G 48" long.

i'm currently running 2 AC50's on my 29G. i'm very patiently waiting on the 50% off sale to get a 75g, and i've already bought 2 AC70's during the mother's day $30 off of $100 online purchase.
