Just thought I would throw out my latest tank setup.

Had a custom tank made for my home office recently...48x17x12.5.

Setup with all live plants and Eco-Complete substrate. Also running 2 filters a Grech 50 UV filter and Fluval U4. The Fluval is set to low flow for planted tanks.

As for fish...I have 4 African cichlids, 2 Japanese Algae eaters, and 2 shrimp.

So far all is going well...no intention to add fish maybe more plants.

Thanks for looking and any input is welcomed. [IMG]

Keep in mind that African cichlids are notorious for eating and tearing up plants, as well as digging into substrate and moving decor.

I'm assuming your "Japanese" algae eaters are Chinese algae eaters, not that it matters... they aren't from China or Japan anyway. Once mature they stop eating algae and try to eat the slime coat off other fish instead, and get aggressive.

You have been warned, your setup looks nice.
