New 29 Gallon setup! Questions about fry

This is my newly cycled 29 gallon setup. Just added my fish this week and I ask some questions in this video so please listen in and any advice is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Okay since everyone wants to just have me type the questions I will do so
1) I just had some fry in my tank yesterday that I put into a breeding net that were pretty big and I am not sure what fish it came from. My question is there anyway to tell what fish it came from or am I going to have to wait until hey get bigger? 3 possible fish are Mollies, Platty, or a Guppy. Today I also found fry but they were way smaller so I believe these came from my guppies. (You can see them in the video if you need too)

2) For my 2 swords, they are currently in the little plastic pot they came in from my LFS. Do I need to out them in a pot and put some substrate in that? I just have some standard gravel in my tank at the moment so I don't know if that will work with the Swords.

3) Is there "U" shaped driftwood? I have not found any anywhere. I just think it would look cool if I had like an arch of driftwood over my fake log.

Welcome to FishLore!!

It would be a better idea to ask your questions in the thread so members can see what they are at a glance.
Otherwise it might appear that you are looking for youtube hits.

Oh, sorry I really don't care about the youtube hits but I understand what you are saying. I was just trying to give visuals and show what I was talking about.

Just so everyone knows I don't care about the youtube hits or subs or anything. Just trying to give visual aid to my questions!

FuzzyWuzzhe, you'll get more answers if you actually ask the questions here. A lot of people aren't going to want to spend five minutes watching a video if they don't know if they have any idea of whether or not they can help you.

I'd strongly suggest you ask the questions here, and then let us determine whether or not we need to watch the video to get more information.

Thank you for editing.
Hope you don't mind, I altered your title to reflect the questions.

Hopefully it will grab the attention of the members who breed.

Good luck!

Welcome to fishlore!

As I've only breed guppies, I don't know if you'd be able to tell what kind of fish the fry are unless you actually see the mother giving birth. I would assume it would be most reliable to wait and see.

Driftwood comes in all shapes and sizes, you just have to find the right one!

Is your aquarium info correct? Is this the 29 gallon? I didn't see a pleco in the video, but if there's one there, and it's a common pleco, it will quickly outgrow your tank, and you'll have to rehome it. Also, cories need to be in schools of at least 5. I'm not sure if your tank is fully stocked or not, but if it isn't, I would reccomend upping the number. If it is stocked, I would consider rehoming the cories. Hopefully another member can tell you if you're stocked or not.

For the fry, I am pretty sure that the first fry that I found yesterday are from my Mollies. They are about twice the size of the other fry and they seem to be developing some black spots already.

For the drift wood, thank you I will just keep looking for the right shape. Are there other stores besides pet/fish shops that sell drift wood?

Yes this is a 29 gallon that is 30' by 13'. The pleco is pretty small. I will attach a picture. The total number of fish in there right now is 5 Mollies, 1 Platty, 2 Corries, and 1 Pleco. There are about 7 feeder guppies that I could easily just give back to my LFS. I did not know about cories needing to be in schools of at least 5. I will do some research on that (not that I don't believe you but just to see). So if you recommend me getting 3 more corries then I gladly will

Thank you very much for your input!

You might be able to find some driftwood online. Either ebay/craigslist or a fish-specific web site. I couldn't tell you where to go, as I only have two pieces of driftwood and I got them both from a pet store

I picture of the pleco would be great. Hopefully it's not a common pleco- those need at least a 55 gallon. I think most other plecos would fit into a 30. I would definitely return the feeder guppies, as they are bred horribly, and come with diseases and die easily. Plus it will make room in your tank to add more cories! They're so much fun I have found that a lot of people don't know that cories need a school, so you're not the only one, don't worry!

The picture is at the top of my last post. Okay, I will get rid of the guppies and get some cories. They are really fun to watch to
