Blueberrybetta said:Yeah those are nerites but their shells do look banged up , but they should be fine. I would give them some good blanched veggies and calcium to help their shells recover
SeaMonkey06 said:As everyone has said they do look like they need some TLC but some calcium and veggies should work wonders...
Poor guys. Sounds like the right think to do, sure they'll appreciate it.Addictedtobettas said:Thank you all. I feel awful that they had to go through so much to get here. Some padding seems like it would have been nice for them in transit. :\
I've got them in a small tank with calcium and I'll get them some blanched veggies shortly.
They don't look anything like the pictures online..
Yeah I emailed them. I more upset by their condition than appearances. Just shocking to see them with broken shells and missing thorns. Didn’t smell too swell in that bag either.SeaMonkey06 said:Poor guys. Sounds like the right think to do, sure they'll appreciate it.
That sucks! Did you get into contact with the seller? I definitely would, that's not ok to false advertise like that.
Unfortunately these came from aquariumplantsfactory. I’ve gotten trapdoor and assassin snails from them before that I was happy with but these guys recently? Not so much.LivebearerMom said:Can you tell us who you got them from?
That really sucks. Usually if they're dead, you can smell it. Hope they're not.Addictedtobettas said:Well, 4 have flat out died. 2 others smell like they're on their way out if not already gone.
Is it possible for snails to smell like sewage and not be dead?
