I bought a couple black neon tetras for my 10 gallon 5 to be exact. It's the next day and 2 of them have died. Before they have died they went sorta ecstatic and were never resting or anything and next thing I know it's stuck in the filter. I also have 6 neon tetra in with them that are fully established. Does anyone know what this is?

I don't know anything about neons. Sorry hopefully someone else will be able to help you. Things to think about though. I have heard and read over and over neons stock have been poor. It could of had something to do with the breeding and nothing with you or your tank.

you said it was established something else people may want to know is how established and your recent readings, I personally always take reading and do a water change whenever I find a dead fish just to be on the safe side.
