Help please,
I bought a bigger new tank (30l) which I finished cycling and was about to put my 3 neon tetra in plus 6 new tetra.
I noticed one of my tetra had a tiny bit of fungus on his mouth. And one of the new tetra has a small lump on it's mouth. I kept both of them in the old tank and have been using a fungus and fin rot treatment with small water changes every 5 days.
They've been in there for 11 days.
My tetra with the fungus has definitely improved, but the fungus not quite fully gone.
The lump on the new tetra is still there and I don't think it's changed.
They both seem totally ok in themselves, and are swimming together and eating fine.
Advice please! Is the lump contagious? It doesn't seem to be...
When can I return them to the new main tank?
