Neocaridina Shrimp: Best Fish Mates

So I know this sounds like a repost when I just asked about tetras with neos but I’ve changed my mind. I’m going to move my current tetras from the 37 gallon into my nearly empty 30 gallon. The 37 gallon will be a shrimp tank, I realized that my invert tanks are my favorite tanks to watch right now. But because it’s pretty big and in the center of the house as one of the main display tanks, I wanted to select a peaceful schooling fish. I am thinking of a large (20) school of some nano fish so that my baby shrimp would have less of a chance of being harmed.
What fish would you suggest? Nano fish or something else entirely? Rice fish maybe?

 

Chili rasboras perhaps? They’re teeny and shy enough I don’t think they’d bother them much but pretty in large schools.

Shrimplets are on everybody’s menu . I’d start your tank and let the shrimp population explode before you add any fish.

This is probably what I’ll do. The only fish that will stay in my BN and I don’t think she’ll be a problem

 

I think corys, otos and plants are a great combo for shrimp tanks. No one fights, no one tries to eat another, life is peaceful and good.

Yeah I’ve heard ottos are good with shrimp!
