Nemphaea x daubenyana

Names: Nemphaea 'daubenyana', N. 'daubeniana', N. 'duaben', Madagascar Dwarf Lily
  • Light: Medium-Very High
  • Temperature: 40-90 F (5-32 C)
  • KH: 0-250 ppm (0-14 dKH) give or take
  • Origin: Hybrid of 2 African lilies N. micrantha and N. caerulea
Here it is in my 150 gallon (568 liter) aquarium. This tank is 5 x 2 x 2 ft (152 x 61 x 61 cm):

This is how it grows in my tank with KH 120 ppm, GH 240 ppm, Ph 7.0, Temp 75° F, CO2 30 ppm, SBReef 45" Freshwater Light @ 100% for 8 hr/day, UNS Controsoil, APT Complete dosed daily, and Osmocote Flower and Vegetable placed 1 sphere about every 2 inches once per 3 months.

This plant doesn't seem to like a lot of water flow. People commonly grow it in small containers outdoors.

Nemphaea 'daubenyana' also seems to flower quite readily:
