Neglected Betta Update

It saddens me to report that the neglected Betta which I received has passed.  I tried to help the little guy but I got to him too late.  Perhaps if I had received him earlier things may have been different.  It is comforting to think that he is no longer suffering but still I wish he would have pulled through. Thanks to all who replied to my posting and thank you Rose for your suggestions.

 

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. :'( :'( :'( That is really too bad he didn't make it. I'm sure you did everything you did for him.

 

I am so sorry to hear of the betta passing, but I know that you should feel good about what you tried to do for him. These things do happen and while it is painful to lose a fish when you are trying to save them, it is sometimes just a part of life and we have to go on. I want to congratulate you for your kindness and caring and hope that perhaps you will consider owning a little one of your own someday.

Sorry to hear about the betta, aleph.  Sounds like it came from a place where the Betta didn't get what he needed to live. But it also sounds like you did your best to bring the little guy back, you can at least feel good that you did what you could for him.  RIP, little betta.
