Hard to tell from pictures. There is a certain type of guppy called a spear tail.

Female guppies can hold sperm from previous males until they feel like it is the right time to fertilize.

What do you mean by some babies are not doing okay?

Yes and ph and high ph. What I did do after my first fry which turned out 100% is started putting in calcium for my snails. I bought a calcium brick form the pet store and broke a small piece off and pit in the tank. After that some of the next fry born had needle tail. They say that dons nit hurt the fish though. I think that's what did it

If you started noticing a difference after that then I would stop adding the calcium brick to the tank. Are you able to measure your gh and kh?

No I pit them in another tank and it seem like they are doing better. I think it has to do with the hardness of the water. Does adding calcium make the water harder?
