Anubias are good. They dont go in the ground. tie them to driftwood or rocks. Same with java fern. They really don't require much for care.

Hello
Start with Amazon Swords, Vallisneria ,Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus, Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Java. Those plants should be easy and available at your LPS...
Don't swords need better light than the rest?

If you have good lights on your tank, just go to your LFS and pick put out the plants you like, or just ask someone there what's a good background, midgrojnd and foreground plant. Than buy some Thrive, Flourish Excel and Seachem Root Tabs and within a couple weeks your tank will be full.

Thank you all for the information. I’m really looking forward to doing a planted tank.
