so my new 33g got ick from some yoyos. its a very high light tank and my anubais is getting covered in algae. I put it in to help cycle the tank but its going to die in there if I don't move it. also I have a otto that I'm worried might not be getting enough food. he won't get on any algae waffers or zucchini. so I know he would really like all that algae. I have been treating the tank naturally 86F, vacs ever other day, UV sterilizer, and a very lil amount of AQ salt. I'm going on 3 1/2 weeks and haven't seen any ick on anyone. the only reason I'm still treating is my yoyo's are still rubbing, but I'm wondering if I should just turn down the heat and keep a close eye. I prob will turn it down next week sometime.
so my questions are, can I pull the anubais out and move to another tank? is there safe way of doing this?
do you guys think its ok to turn the heat down next week? I stopped seeing visible ick after the 4th day of treatment. only the yoyos are rubbing but its not near as bad as when the prob first started.
