Need Some Barb Color In My Tanks!

75 g is currently stocked with 6 golden barbs and 7 tiger barbs (4 regular and 3 green).
Eventually it will get 6-7 golden zebra loaches once I get them and after their quarantine period.
But I’m kind of wanting some color.
So suggestions of which colored barb? And yes, I do think I want to stay will all barbs. Unless someone can convince me otherwise.
The guys I have now are extremely active fish but still play relatively nice with each other; half hearted chasing but no nipping.
I’m worried cherries would be bullied. And don't Rosies like cooler water? My tank temp is 77.5 +/-
Black rubies? Do they really get that gorgeous deep color I’ve seen in pictures?

I've not seen black ruby barbs before in person, but it does seem that the colour can vary in intensity based on a little search. I have cherry barbs and I think in a big enough shoal they'd be ok, and they are lovely to watch. You're right, rosy barbs do like it a bit cooler at 64 - 72°F (18 - 22 °C). An all barb tank is fun but definitely adventurous! Let us know what you decide

I got half a dozen pentazona (5 banded) barbs to maintain the cycle in a waiting 40 gallon (permanent residents came in just yesterday, yay!), and have been really pleased with them. Really chill most of the time, and tiny race car piranhas at feeding time.
They have great red colour, with fantastic blue twinkles throughout the black stripes. And they stick together really well, like a gang but not a school.

They sound pretty. I’ll have to look them up. Thanks!!

I have Odessa barbs, and they're absolutely my favorite barbs. Even the females are super colourful.

Male on the left, female on the right.
Another barb I have that might not be considered super colourful but looks great none the less are checker barbs. The males get these really cool red and black fins, but the females are pretty drab brown.

Two male checker barbs on the bottom there. Top is a female Odessa

Thanks! My original stocking plan was a larger group of Tigers and cardinal tetras. But then the golden barbs were an impulse purchase lol!
I’m heading to my small LFS tomorrow. I think they had the green tigers in with the cherries last time I was there. I really like the cherries so may come home with them.
I’ll update tomorrow!
