Need Molly advice please

My 30 gallon consists of 7 glo tetras, 5 little bottom feeders, 2 frogs and 1 Molly. Lately the Molly has been aggressive towards my fish. Chasing and darting at them. I was said to add more mollies so the current mollies behavior stops. The store told me the Molly is a female. When I first got the Molly I had gotten two. One may have been sick bc my current Molly killed and tried eating some of it. Idk if this Molly is just an aggressive one or what advice anyone has. Thank you!

You can try to move decorations around to "break" up her territory and then add a couple of more (female) mollies in. Mollies like to be the boss of the tank and you may notice a bit of aggression when adding the new mollies. That's just them establishing a pecking order.
If the fights look like they are getting too serious you could always rehome her.

If you have a separate tank you could give her a "time out" too.

I don’t have a separate tank but I used a five gallon bucket with an air stone for a few hours to try and help the other fish establish their territories.

The Molly is starting to act out again. I’ve had her a few months and was wondering if petco would take her back at this point for no refund.

I had three young mollies and one night, one of them decided to full on attack one of my angels, with whom she has been living with for 4 months.. I ended up taking her to my local fish store. i know that if petco won't let you return her, your lfs should take her! If you need/want to, I could probably tell the gender of your molly from a picture so that you can efficiently buy more!

Thank you. Based on what I’ve read and judging by the fin this Molly is a girl. I read males have a longer pointy looking fin while females is more of a sail fin? Don’t know that’s the best description but from what I believe it is a female. She has been ok since I did the quarantine trick and changed all the decorations.
