Need help with plant growth/deficiencies!

So I am new to aquariums (started like 6 or 7 months ago with them) and my knowledge is somewhat small comparable. I build my own aquarium cube for my desk and been trying to grow plants in it, it's a 12"*12"*12" with a fluval desk nano light running all at 100% from about 11 am to about 10 pm. I've tried dosing ferts and reading tests and these are my readings

Ammonia - between .25-.5 ppm
Nitrite - .25ppm~
Nitrate - 0
Phosphates - 2ppm
Gh/kh are both about 10

This tank is about 3 months old and It has a few neocardenia and 3 amanos in it and a few small fish. Densely planted w/ hornwort, guppy grass, and attempting to grow s. Repens and this another plant I'm not sure what it is in the picture. Hornwort and guppy grass grow, but not very fast at all.
My repens and the unknown plant aren't doing so hot at the moment and I've included some pictures of them.
Can anybody see possible what the deficiency is? I am not too sure on what it is but the ends of the new leaves are wavy and yellowing.

Thank you for reading!

Did you not cycle the tank? You need a cycled tank especially for shrimp or fish ... ypu also need nitrates for plants to thrive which you get from cycling as well. Look into the Nitrogen cycle and cycle your tank or those shrimp won't last long !

Looks like the tank is mid cycle, keep an eye on the ammonia and nitrites and use water changes to keep them at a safe level.

I had great luck with str.repens until the scuds started chowing down on it. Guppy grass and hornwort should grow like crazy. I think you may just be getting impatient...I don't see your plants melting away or dying.

Yeah I know I got a little antsy with fish and should have been more patient with the process, but as a remedy I've been changing about 25% water about twice a week to keep ammonia down. It's just a little concerning for me since my repens looks a little ratty especially since the older leaves are falling off too.

Are you using Prime to keep the ammonia from harming the fish? If not you should get some! Yeah seems you are mid cycle.
