Need Help With Betta Morphs

I need some help deciding on the morph of one of my male bettas. He resembles an Orange Dalmatian, however, he changes color like a Dragon morph. I would really like to know if he's a Dalmatian, as I actually found him at the pet store! (Sorry for the bad quality! He never likes to sit still) He only has those dark red spots on his fins, and nowhere else on his body. He doesn't have a name yet, which is why I would like to know his morph. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately he doesn't qualify as a dalmatian betta. Not enough speckles/spotty-ness. He could be a piebald betta or a iridescent multicolored betta. I see you also have him in a bowl. Bettas need a minimum of 2.5 gallons (bigger is always better) that's heated to 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit because they are a fish from tropical climates. All fish need a filter and along with a filter, you need to know about the nitrogen cycle and how to cycle your tank so you don't poison your fish to death.

He just looks like a multI with irid to me, as already stated not dalmation. Dalmations will be a fleshy color with red spots in the fins.

Did you want advice on fish care? If so I’d be happy to give any advice I can, but I thought this thread was just for ID’ing what kind of betta you have. If it wasn’t and would still like advice then I’d still be more than happy to help out!

Thanks to you both! I'm a bit disappointed he isn't a dalmatian though. I was hoping to breed him with my female koi! Do either of you know where I can possibly get a dalmatian betta for cheap? Or maybe just how they are bred? And he actually isn't living in the bowl. That was only temporary until I could get his ten gallon tank up and running! I do keep two much smaller bettas in bowls, but I am making sure their conditions are met (to the best of my ability). They are being kept upstairs, which, because it's summer, is generally around 75-76 degrees Fahrenheit. Once I get my 5 gallon nano-tank running, the small female will be placed in the nano-tank with a heater and possibly some shrimp. This will generally be around winter, so the timing should line up if I do it correctly. As for the other betta, which is a male, I am currently debating getting him a small heater for his bowl, but I don't think it's entirely necessary at the moment due to the fact he has already made a bubble nest, even without the sight of another male or even a female. Their bowls hold 3 gallons of water each, with about .5 gallons being taken up by gravel and decor. I know their bowls, temperatures, and gallon sizes are not ideal, but I do definitely plan on correcting these in the future.

So, he's developed even more spots on his fins (yay!). They're dark red and he seems to be getting more of them as time goes on! However, none of them are developing on his body!

Well, now he certainly looks a lot more like a dalmation! I believe you were right, he must’ve coloured up some more once he settled in. Dalmations don’t usually have spots on the body, typically only the fins.
