Sure looks like a female to me, but wait for a second opinion I’m not an expert yet.

Yay! I assumed she was a he, because I heard that most dwarf gouramis in pet stores where males, and I assumed that extended to all gouramis

No, that does not extend to other gouramis. Female dwarf gouramis are rarely offered for sale because they lack the bright colors of the males.

Other species are often available for sale while still too young to accurately determine sex.
