    Howdy folks,

Common problem, I think, for fishkeepers: I can't tell if I have male or female boesemanis. Seems if the males are by themselves they don't color up, making them look somewhat like females, but the females themselves are very closely colored to "dull" males.

Apologies for the bad pictures... the camera phone is call I have. What do you think? They don't have a "hump," I've not seen them flash, and their front ends are more gray than blue, but they do have some semblance of vertical bars on them and not much, if any, of a horizontal stripe. So I'm just confused.

Please let me know your thoughts. I'm going to the pet store this week to add a few more fish and I want to get two more Boesemanis, but I want to make sure I keep the sexes even. It's a rainbow tank.
