Need Help On My Female Guppy

HI I'm very need to this but I have a 64l tank and I have 5 guppies 3 male and 2 female, well my one female was/is pregnant she got real big and on Friday I noticed she wasn't eating properly normally she would eat loads like her sister and the boys but yeah. I had to do a water change only to find a baby fry so I thought omg what if I've just sucked babies up while changing the water so I put the mum and baby in the small tank so when or if she has more they drop down. Well the 1 fry got out through the gaps and went back into the big tank and the mum didn't settle in the small tank she didn't seem happy at all she was pooing loads but nothing else so I had to let her back in the big tank because I read she could abort them. So I got the baby fry a net cage so it's safe, but now this morning I've checked on the mum and she hasn't got a black spot it was more pinky/orangey then she ate and it went black again she also has lost weight she is no where near as big as on Friday and she's eating normally and I was wondering has she had them but they got eaten or what I'm so confused

Has she had babies before? The first round of fry is usually a low number. The rest may have been eaten or even hiding in the tank now.

HI no this is her first time and I have looked everywhere in the tank but no luck. Is there anything I can do different? When she was in the breeding tank she was pooing loads and that should I keep her in there next time ?

Since it was her first she may have been pregnant with only a few AND slightly constipated. Reducing stress is a good help. Less males to females. I like to do 3 to 1 ratios.

Guppies need to be kept at a minimum ratio of 1m/2f to reduce stress on females in a m/f tank.

Good advice. I prefer even more females. The males are relentless. It may not be a problem much of the time, but right before, during and after birthing they are stressed and the males don't care.

Check your filter... before I added prefilters into my intakes I used to find tons of fry and shrimplets in the box...
with a 16 gallon tank not sure I would add more females, in a few months you are already going to be overrun... I would however add more cover for the fry... you can do live or fake plants, anything that keeps them somewhat hidden...
Overall I stay away from breeder boxes, usually stress out mom, fry, and the other fish in the tank...

Thanks I didn't think about the filter I checked but still nothing. I have a few fake plants and places for them to hide going to get a real plant next weekend.
Yeah I'm not going to use the breeding tank as my females absolutely hates it

Except my dojo loaches. They always climb into the box and just chill.

Good plan. Many of my females lose their mind if you confine them.

I only had one molly "enjoy" her time in the box. Sadly all of the fry died It was my first group and some escaped the box and eventually all of them disappeared over time.
