Need Help Aquascaping A 10 Gallon

Hi! For Christmas I got 8.8 pounds of fluval stratum and a new 10” nicrew aquarium light. I put it in one of my 10 gallons, which previously had fake plants and icky blue gravel. For the new aquascaping, I was thinking about taller plants in the back, shorter plants in the front, and a dwarf sag carpet. Here is a pic:

(Yes I am aware the molly shouldn’t be in this tank)

I am open to any suggestions, thank you!

Pearl weed and Ludwigia repens red.

I find the Pearl Weed can either be a carpet, mid or back ground plant depending how you look after it. Really bright green.
Also I grow it with out CO2 just useing excel at the recommended dose.

The ludwigia is pretty easy to grow and adds some different colour.

I would say java fern, moneywort, Marimo moss balls, java moss, frogbit, and anubias all are great options

Ok. I was actually thinking pennywort because I heard that was easier. It is also more readily available in my area. I want to keep it low-tech though, no cO2 or liquid fertilizer. I do think the other things are great, except frogbit. Floating plants just don’t work with my filter (aquaclear 20)

Ok. My friend is getting some pearl weed so I can have some of hers once she grows it out. Does it need cO2 though? I don’t want to have any cO2 or liquid ferts as mentioned above.

On a side note, I went shopping today and picked up some baby narrow leafed java ferns, and some minima anubias for the back corner.

Looks good! The Black sand really complements the plants. Once they grow out, the tank will be filled up. Maybe get a little grayish white hideaway for the right side of the tank? I think that would look really good

Java fern should be attached to hardscape above the substrate, like anubias
I think some wood and rocks for hardscape will improve the scape a lot.

Ok, I attached the Anubias to a rock. My driftwood is coming soon so I will attach the java fern to that. I also got some wisteria, but I am not sure if that has to be attached to a rock.

On a side note, my anubias minima came in a pot and when I was taking off the sponge thing I found these eggs/seeds inside of it. What is it? I moved it to a separate container. If they are eggs I will be happy to take care of the babies, if they are seeds I would love to grow them.
