1) Describe yourself in 3 words. Hardworking, Strong willed, animal lover.

2) What is your favorite type of fish? Bettas

3) If you could be ANY fish, which fish would you be and why? I would be a betta. They are so full of personality and can be very sassy.

4) What is your favorite food? Medium rare grilled steak.

5) Pancakes or Waffles? Waffles

6) What is your favorite song? Roar

7) What do you dislike most about the aquarium hobby, and why? Well, the educated hobby, not much. The uneducated hobby, there are a lot of things to choose from but probably an unicycled tank. I have met ALLOT of people who don't even know what cycling there tank is.

8) What is your favorite TV show? I have a few.. Can't pick, mostly oldies lol. Dick Van Dike, Bonanza, Rifle Man, Dream motel... So on...

9) What is your greatest fear? Ants. Not the little ones, but the big ones that bight and sting Lol.

10) What is or was your favorite subject in school, and why? Spelling. I like it, and it is my quickest subject lol.

11) What is your favorite thing about the hobby? All of the knowledge and how much it has progressed in the past few decades.

I'm a betta girl lol. A 600 gallon, 3 ft tall, live planted betta soririty, paludarium.

Do you love or hate pest snails?

Do you enjoy gardening?

 

Do you keep aquarium plants? If so, what types? Sure do! Hornwort, some mixed floaters, Amazon sword, java moss, java fern, moss balls, water weed, and a bunch of mixed unidentified plants. As for riparium plants, polka dot plant (hot pink, light pink, and white), peace lily, and neon pothos.

Do you love or hate pest snails? I love them lol!! If I feel like I have 2 much, I'll sell or give them away.

Do you enjoy gardening? Absolutely! I work at a great house, have my own flower garden, and like 100 house plants. A few of my favorite house plants are cactus, or orchids, African violates.

An update on the plants, I have over 30 types now and have gone fully live planted. NEVER GOING BACK!

 

That's awesome, lol. I want to plant my 15, it's my only non-planted tank.
How did you come up with your username?

 

How did you come up with your username?

It is originally off my reptile business name Near Me Geckos. I educate people about propper reptile care and used to sell leopard geckos. The name Near Me Geckos was to help it pop up in search engines when people searched "geckos for sale near me, or geckos Near me". I've done the same with my bettas now. I like everything to be the same so I don't forget lol.
