Has anyone used this betta food before? if yes would you recommend it? also what other betta foods are good in your opinion?

Doesn't really matter the brand. All betta pellets should include minimun 40% of proteins in the ingredients list. National Geographic, Aqueon, ZooMed, HikarI and many other brands are pretty much the same. Just make sure to get bloodworms too (which you'll feed once a week) since bettas need a variety of food, and you're good to go!

but not freeze dried bloodworms, try to stick to frozen.
there is hardly any nutritional value in any freeze dried food.

I've never heard of it before, but here's a thread to answer your question.
