Does anyone have any experience with the plant? It’s hard to find a lot of info online for this particular plants... I mainly can only find info on the regular Micro Sword.

I purchased this plant back in March and it did not last more than a month in my tank. I was dosing Easy Green and I run a Planted 3.0 with Ecocomplete. No CO2... as I was told it wasn’t needed, but at the time I was dosing Excel. I’d like to try it again, any advice would be appreciated.

lilaeopsis mauritiana is easier to grow while lilaeopsis brasiliensis needs higher light. They both need fine grained, nutrient heavy substrates and ferts to grow. But you might need Co2 to actually get a nice carpet growing in a bigger tank(unless you have a lot of patience.) Eco complete isn’t the best substrate, it’s good for root growth but has 0 nutrients available.

I’d recommend echinodorus tenellus(pygmy chain sword) if you want an easier to grow carpet plant.
