Nano Tank Canister Recommendations?

Looking to switch from a hob to a canister in my 10 gallon Nano tank. Just want a decent brand that isn’t too expensive. I am having problems even finding a canister for a 10g, aside from the Zoo Med Nano. Was looking for something to compare it to.

I doubt you are going to find a better price than the zoo med or the sunsun MikeRad89 posted. Depending on the stock, the ehiem 2211 could be considered but is really expensive in comparison.

Thanks! I wish there were more options. I do like the look of the Zoo Med, I think the SunSun may not work where I have my 10 gallon set up. Might have to measure. Lol

I have been happy with my Fluval 306, so was going to recommend the 106, but yeah ... it's not as inexpensive as the SunSun for sure.

I got the Sunsun filter for my 14g tank and have had it running for about a week. Looks like it's doing the job. I cut the sponges in half and took out the lower spacer so I could fill it with some ceramic rings. I have a little vibration from the pump but it's not noticeable with the TV on. The plastic parts feel a bit brittle and cheap, but if you don't overtighten stuff they should be fine. On the positive side it's very inexpensive, has lots of filter volume for the size and it's small so it doesn't take up much room.

Similar situation here.
ZooMed Nano 10 and Fluval 106 were what I narrowed down to, but both have minor issues IMO.
ZooMed is configured backwards (water goes through bio-media first, then sponge) and the Fluval doesn't offer a spray bar.
I think the ZooMed also needs to be at the same level as the tank.
Then there's the price of them.

AllieSten I saw in another thread you had a canister on your 10 gallon now.

What did you end up choosing?

I did the SunSun 603b. It is workings very well. I really like it so far. Plus it was only $26. So you can’t beat the price.

Hi

How do u like your SunSun so far? Where did u get it for $26?

What makes u picked the SunSun over zoomed?
From be pictures, looks like zoomed has better quality and design.

Thanks
