Mystery Snail vs Brown Algae

My tank is experiencing a small brown algae bloom. It is very minimal and I’m assuming it is being caused by not enough natural light. Would a mystery snail be a good way to get rid of it?

I have not had mysteries in a tank with a diatom issue, but I'd assume they would eat it. Ramshorns attack that stuff though, and they are cheaper.

Rams horns will definitely eat it. Nerites probably will, but I'm not sure.

i've never had luck with them eating brown algae. I usually have to clean it out with a paper towel during water change. My 20 gallon long gets it quiet bad & I had 4 mystery snails in there for months.
