10 Gallon Tank Mystery Snail Shell - Question

I've had my mystery snails for almost two weeks now. And I noticed that one of them, Kuro, has visible lines going across his shell?

Is this a lack of calcium? Cause he never had those lines before. But my other mystery snail, Shiro, seems fine. She's actually been growing a lot (antenna wise), but then same with Kuro.

This is how it looks like:

How it looks like before:

But Shiro is fine, this is how she looks now:

I always add a small piece of wonder shell/weekend feeder after my weekly water changes to provide a calcium source but have had a similar line show up on my mystery snail's shell too.

I'm curious to see what other people say but I kind of wonder if it isn't a result of different water parameters and diet from transitioning to your tank from the pretty store? I say that because my snail has only 1 line from when I first got him, it is kind of a cool indicator of how much he's grown since I've had him.

My mystery snail named pumpkin (hes orange) and he naturally has those stripes like your snail. When I first got him he only had one but as he's grown he's gotten more. I believe they just naturally show up on their shells. My other snail Pacman who is a gold has them too but they are less visible because of his coloring. Btw your snails (especially kuro) is very pretty

Ohh, that's pretty cool way to look at it XDD

I just can't tell whether he grew and it formed, or it formed right on his shell. My brother says that my snails seem like they grew bigger, but to me they look the same I stare at then for hours a day XDDD

I'm just hoping he's not having any problems

My mystery snail named pumpkin (hes orange) and he naturally has brown stripes like your snail. As he has grown they have faded a little but they are still there. I believe its just their natural shell pattern and as they grow might get darker or lighter. Btw your snails (especially kuro) is very pretty
Like the "scratcha-lines" by the edge of the shell?

I think it’s just natural wearing down of the shell as he scrapes against tank decor and stuff. Perfectly normal, and all of my mysteries have them.

It’s new shell growth. The new shell will be thinner/different color than before if the water parameters or diet change. That’s all it is think of it like tree rings. Different things that affect the tree will show in the rings
