Mystery Snail Issues

Well, my mystery snail isn’t cooperating.
He’s constantly flipped over or floating, and I can’t stop it.
I moved him to a separate container inside the tank, and I put veggie wafers and spinach for him to eat. He still hasn’t moved.

Thoughts?

Try clean water. It usually works for my nerites when they are sluggish.

Should I move him to a separate holding tank, or move in with one of my bettas?
He constantly floats with his body slightly out, it's so weird. He wouldn't really take interest in the food I gave him.

Maybe he needs to move, I can definitely move him to one of my five gallons for a bit. It's much more peaceful in there than in the 31.

You can try de-airing him by gently turning him underwater to get the air in his shell to slip out so he is no longer floating. If he is dying sometimes this does not work, I have a smaller snail that took a month to stop floating despite me moving it around.
I would suggest the sniff test to see if he is still healthy.
