10 Gallon Tank Mystery snail is floating?

My water parameters are:
Day 33: (10/19/2020)
PH: 7.2-7.6
Ammonia: 0-0.25ppm
Nitrites: 0-0.25ppm
Nitrates: (Unchecked)
Water Change: No

He was just fine earlier roaming all around and annoying my other mystery snail. Now he's just floating? I took him out but he doesn't smell. I touched him, and he's still moving.

Is this normal? I'm kind of getting worried... the other mystery snail is doing fine though, same with the nerite.

Do they sleep while floating?

I did change the water yesterday but he was fine til' now.

Edit: I did the research and I still seem to find the cause. The water quality is fine, and there's no film on the water... maybe it's air stuck in his shell? Maybe it's the detritus worm that got in earlier :'v

**** is happening? He's closed tightly so I know he's still alive.

Mystery snails go up for air from the surface, and sometimes they can get too much in their shell. But they will fix themselves on their own.

I'm really hoping; I'll try giving him another hour of what I'll call the worrying position

Never seen him do it, he usually sleeps tightly onto something :'v

 

I did more research and it seems its a common behaviour for mystery snails, and that they can actually control their buoyancy.

Sorry for that, I'll do more research next time and worry later. The first thing I saw was he might not like the water parameters and/or that he's dead. So I panicked. Lesson learned
