Hi everyone,
I had 4 mystery snails in a 10-gallon tank with 2 ADFs. Two days ago I noticed that one of the larger Mystery Snails (Ivory) was upside down at the bottom of the tank with half his body sticking out. I thought he was dead, but when I picked him up he shrunk back into his shell. I put him in a different tank and checked the water conditions which were all optimal. I did a 25% water change just in case. After a couple of hours I noticed that the mystery snail had started moving around the other tank I had put him in, but he would never go back into his shell fully and any time he went to the floor of the tank, he would lay sideways. I left him there with some food overnight and the next morning he looked great, had eaten the food, and was moving around the tank. I put him back into the larger tank. He continued to move around and I didn't see any issues. However, that evening I came in and the other large snail (Golden) was on top of him and it looked like he was trying to pull his shell back (picture attached). I separated them and put the ivory one back in the separate tank, but the next day he was dead. Do mystery snails fight? Should I watch the Golden snail in case he tries the same with the other snails?
