Mystery snail eggs on my tank

I’ve had my mystery snail for a couple of months and she just laid a bunch of eggs last night. She’s my only mystery snail (I also have a nerite snail) so I know she doesn’t have a mate, but I also heard that they can store sperm in their body for a long time. Are these eggs viable? Will I have baby snails? This is my first time ever experiencing a snail lay eggs so any help is much appreciated

It's true that mystery snails can store sperm for a while so there is a possibility they are viable. What I do when my mystery snails lay egg clutches is scrape it off the glass and put it in a plastic bag and then into the freezer for a few hours and then I throw it away. I've also heard you can flush them, but I haven't tried it. Hope this helped :)

Thanks! Is there any way to tell if they’re fertilized?

Watch for black dots in the eggs after a week or so is what I found. I let one go to see what happened. And then picked about 50 out ot the tank and gave up. Had about 12 left including existing 4 adults (3f 1m) The one male is non stop with females. I get one of those at least every week. My tank is rimless and has glass cover so they crawl up onto that and lay them upside down. Prior was a typical tank with rim and i got ones just like you. Just removed two that size this morning. You can discourage by keeping water level high. Also overfeeding triggers them laying from my experience. I absolutely love watching them. Especially when they glide down. Cannot help but make sound effects for them when I see it. Lol. The little ones will float upside down using their foot like a boat. They are like having a bunch of roombas in there.
