HI everyone... I’m BRAND new here so thanks all for your info & help thus far! I have a big 55 gallon fish at home and today I need help w my little 5 gallon tank st my office. Mystery snails.. love them and have had one growing happily in the tank for about a month. Seeing they are social, I got a 2nd yesterday. Today we have this going on...’aggressive or sexy?? Be concerned or let them be??
Thanks so very much friends!

I'd let them be. The only time i've ever seen them fighting they were decked out in full battle gear as pictured (sorry, i'm not much of an artist! Lol!

Yep, I believe so. Was this white part inside the other snail’s shell? I mean sometimes same gender snails try to get it on too. Lol

Lol not too sure but “he” keeps whippin it out and waving it around...lol. Thinkin it’s definitely not the little breathing siphon unless it went from brown to white overnight. It’s funny... they’re both really tired...

Haha. MEN! Yeah the siphon is usually the same color as the foot so this white part is his “manhood.” Mine would do this 12 times a day...whew.

HI guys. Sooooooo our sexy sexy snail time has gone on time & again since first posting this. Thanks a million for all of the advice. Now for something so different. They’ve both become completely inactive since I did a water change yesterday... just resting?? Seem very dormant..... ☹️ any ideas?

I assume you treated the water and your parameters are ok? Snails tend to nap a lot, days at a time even. I mean, come on...all that sexy time?!

Hahaha - I luv your answers so much! Thanks a million for getting back so FAST!!
I did use the "Prime" product with my water change but perhaps a water test wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I'll definitely do that. The way these little guys look they just seem exhausted... sexy snails indeed haha
In your opinion do the pix look like just little sleeping beauties to you? Not sure what a sleeping snail looks like bcuz they're such a brand new part of my ongoing aquatics hobby

That’s how mine would nap at times, other times they were completely closed up. I’m sure you also made the temp as close as you could. How much at a time do you change? I find it best to do small amounts, nothing more than say 30% due to my fluctuation in pH from tap to tank as well. Do they seem to eat well?

I do try to keep the water the same temp on a change - no heater on the tank so just room temp. It's only a 5 gallon tank and I change no more than 1/3 at a time as well. They do seem to eat well when they are cruisin' around... and they definitely like blanched green beans It's my little "at work" tank so over lunch hour I will grab my kit to test the water this afternoon and see what's happening there... Thanks again for your help WTFish - you rock!

No problem!! I’m sure they’re totally fine! I need a couple more, mine died at close to 2 years so fun to watch.
