What is your advice on caring for them, my poor gal (I am assuming it is a she) has a dirty shell and its also thin. She is about the size of a quarter and a half.

You can take her out of the water and wipe her shell off with paper towel. Feed fresh blanched veggies- broccoli, zucchini, cucumber. Feed algae wafers, green beans. Make snail jello-google some recipes, my snails love it!

I made it to 50, yay! I've been having some fun posting and chatting with everybody here on fishlore. Never did this forum kind of thing before, I don't do facebook or anything else of the sort either. When the baby snalies are bigger for selling I will let you know.

Congrats on the 50 post.... This forum is pretty neat. Haven't come across any keyboard warriors and ppl are truly all about the hobby.

You should also think about supplementing with calcium. Breaking up a cuttlebone and putting some pieces in the tank works well. They'll float for a couple of days then sink. The calcium will dissolve in the water, and snails will occasionally graze on them. This will help with strong shell development.

Thank you I finally got around to doing that and she is already doing better.
