My gold mystery snail has not moved for about 18 hours and before that he barely moved for about 18 hours. He is completely in his shell on his side.

I bought 2 and the other one is very active in my 10 gallon.
The snail in question is in my community 65 gallon.
Should I pick him up and see if he responds?
What tips or Info can anyone tell me about this lack off movement in the last day? Possible he starved?
We got him April 20th

It isn't unusual for them to hide in their shell and stay in one place for days at a time. If you are concerned, you can move him to the 10 gallon with the other snail.

What is the stocking and water parameters of the 65g tank?

Mine hides as well. One minute he can be doing laps around the tank and the next minute he goes into hiding. I've picked him up twice before to see if he was still alive and when I went to smell him, he'd tuck himself in the shell a bit more. But it definitely isn't uncommon. You can double check by taking him out and smelling him to see if it smells rotten or not. If not, then he's fine.

Or you can take a small container of the tank water he is in and place him in the center to see if he moves towards the edges and yes definitely do the sniff test

I have to say I'm finding these snails quite interesting and the one in my 10 gallon Is just entertaining! Never thought I'd say that about a snail lol.
He is so active and is always jumping off stuff. Quite funny. I'll look down for 60 seconds and he'll of jumped off my sponge filter and be half way up the glass.
That's why I thought the other snail wasn't well cuz I hadn't really seen either rest for that long.
I'm happy I got them, it's another part of the hobby for me to enjoy
The for everyone's help and exp

They are endlessly entertaining. One minute just hanging out, the next snailing across the rocks with their antennae at full extension and waving around.
