Mystery pleco update

All right, it's been a while since I inherited my "mystery pleco".
He is doing well and loves to sit with his belly over the bubble wand thingy and get a massage from it. He's a big boy, about 25 cm 9 or 10 inches. He seems to enjoy eating driftwood and loafing about on the bottom of the tank. I'll try to get some pics of him up soon, maybe even one with my pleco I made out of clay as a ceramics project .

Why does he like the bubble wand so much?? I'm stumped

More tomorrow... I'm falling asleep staring at the screen

I forgot to say his name is Jeff the Worm, after the subway eating thing from Men In Black 2. When I first saw him, I never thought any kind of algae eater could get so big. Wrong. He came out this morning and ate some algae stuck to the side of his tank. He just kind of stares at me when I come near the tank.

My fish love bubble wands. The corys especially like to swim in and out of the bubble stream.

Why does he love the bubble wand... does he like to get massages??????

I think it helps with their digestion, but I could be way off on that. Perhaps checking planet catfish for pleco artlicles might shed more light on it.
