Mystery of the Snail

My snail sometimes seems to disappear...but I found it lurking behind the filter tube a few times. Why is it doing that? It wasn't moving particularly...is it feeding on stuff brought up to the tube?

 

Probably just being lazy and letting the filter pull in food for it.

I have one that goes to a dark place for a while during the day so he can sleep so maybe that is your little guys dark spot. They can be kind of nocturnal sometimes but then again they sometimes are active all day. He either sleeps all day or sleeps all night never the same think. I never know but when he disappears I know it is generally because he has been up all hight. ;D

He needs a curfew. ;D
