Mystery eggs that don’t seem to be snail

Leoriosbestie29

Hello,
I have a neocaridina shrimp only tank, and I’m seeing little “egg” type things (I’ve only noticed this today, I think it is new). Now, normally people say if you have mystery eggs, they’re snails, but I have not put in any new plants or animals or anything new whatsoever in my tank since I got my shrimp about 3 months ago and I’m only seeing this now. I’m not really sure what these are, I will attach pictures below. I do have scuds in my shrimp in my tank but similar to shrimp they don’t “lay eggs”. I am wondering if maybe they’re dropped unfertilized eggs? But I have no idea if that’s a thing.
thanks to anyone who can help.

Snails are very sneaky.

I wouldn't totally discount these being tiny snails. You would see some movement if you watch them long enough though. Plants could have had eggs. Once conditions were just right they could have hatched. Snails are very good at being invisible. By the time I saw the first ramshorn snail in my tank I was already over run with them.
