If I add anything, it would be hornwort. It is likely the crayfish and any offspring will eat most plants. I already had a whole group of water spangles demolished and have been feeding plant snippings from other tanks.

About 1.5” or 2” now.

I might do a background of dark-colored different sized pipes or at least something that gives varied hiding spot options without adding too much weight (I will need to transport the tank).

Crayfish just molted three days ago, she’s a little over two inches now.

Crayfish molted again and now her top half and legs are blue. I think we may need to revisit identification.

That there looks like a species of blue crayfish. It can be difficult to narrow down the exact one though.

Some of those look close. I’ve also seen some blue marble crayfish photos that seem pretty close too. I guess waiting to see whether or not she produces young will narrow it down for sure.

She’s about 3.5” now and has turned some really pretty colors. I am leaning back towards her being a marbled.
