Well, I just got back from a 4 day trip yesterday....and I was checking all my tanks to make sure everyone was doing ok, when I noticed 2 of my oto's in my oto tank were missing; no bodies, no ammonia spike, nothing.
any idea what happened?

How extensively did you search the tank? Maybe the bodies are tucked away in a small nook.

Did you sift through the substrate? Lift every single decor, rocks, wood you have? Checked the filters and around the tank? Do you have a pet dog or cat that could've gotten to them if they had jumped out?

My guess would be they died of natural causes and the rest of the fish picked at them until the majority of the carcasses are gone.

Yes, I did all that, and no, I don't have any pets inside the house....it's really weird.

could all that have happened in 4 days?

Oh yeah. A small fish can be nipped to pieces within a day or two. I've had an entire cory get picked apart until only his tail was left within about 4 days

Do you have any snails? They can completely eat a carcass within 24 hours

This happened to me with a german ram. Just gone. Found what was left( which wasn't much) down in my sand a few days later.

Yes, I do have snails, but haven't found any remains...I guess they've passed on then

Keep an eye on your ammonia level. If you get a spike, chances are there body's are in there somewhere
