That’s good that you have a quarantine tank! It’s got a filter, right? I believe what you are describing is called popeye. I haven’t dealt with it myself, knock on wood, but this might help: How to Treat Popeye Disease in Aquarium Fish

Sounds good. Danios are okay at room temp generally but warmer temps do help fight infection if you want to try that with another method or medication

Epsom salt baths can be used to reduce swelling and Paraguard or Kanaplex for bacterial infections. Kanaplex can be absorbed in the body so if there's an internal infection, that med would be useful.
In a 1 gallon, daily or every other day water changes probably should be done just to be extra sure the water is fresh so the eye doesn't get worse.
You could try salt treatments but the eye looks pretty bad and is a pretty sensitive body part so I personally wouldn't mess around and do too mild of a treatment.

Would it be better for the fish to uthinze him?? He is about 4 years old so it is getting to the end of his time. I can't take care of him from about 7am- 4pm then 5pm- 8pm so I don't know how well he is gonna do

I really don't know how much water to Epson salt to do so if you could find me a " recipe" for that I would me much more comfortable doing it. Thank you

Dissolve about 1/4 teaspoon Epsom salt in a separate container then put fish in for no more than 15 minutes.

I mean, you could euthanize him but he could still potentially heal and live longer. You don't need to give him 24 hour care, just give him Epsom salt baths once or twice a day and see if that helps. Medicating probably would help as well.

His eye isn't as puffy. I put him in a Epson salt bath for 6 minutes and it has somewhat helped.
