My trip to London!

I went to London last month and had a wonderful time! What a friendly place! Anyone taking their first trip to Europe should really consider London! The Londoners are so helpful when you get lost, and you don't have to worry about being out after 9:00 p.m. I loved it! Here's some photos:

This is all 4 of us at Windsor Castle. From the left is me, my mom's best friend Cheryl, mom, and my sister in law Robin.

My favorite hangout right near the hotel. We ate our first and last meals in London here, including our first and last pints!

I got to go to the London Aquarium!

Can you tell I had a blast? ;D

Us southerners don't eat it! It's the Geordies and the other northerners who do that!

What "blood pudding" ?

The proper name for it is 'black pudding'

It's proper gross...

If you want to make your own... (Recipe from a cookbook):

1lt (1¾ pints) Blood (Pig, Lamb or Goose)
340g (12oz) Shredded Suet
300ml (½ pint) Milk
50g (2oz) Oatmeal
3 Medium Onions, chopped
1 tbsp Salt
½ tsp Mixed Herbs
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
Pinch Nutmeg

Pre-heat oven to 160°C: 300°F: Gas 2.
Mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly, making sure that the seasonings are evenly distributed.
Next fill the large sausage cases, see: Sausage Making Basics for advice on doing so.
Place into an ovenproof dish with a cover, standing in a larger dish half filled with water.
Bake for 1½ hours.
Allow to cool.
Fry with bacon and eggs for breakfast or use as a part of a Mixed Grill.

So yes, food made from blood and fat...

LOL Rob, thanks a lot! It seriously contains blood!!! Maybe its taste is good - I wouldn't know because I never tried anything like this. But the sole idea of consuming "blood" (even if cooked) makes me feel "a little" weird at my stomach! Sorrie! Have you ever tried it? How was it?
