I have two Plecostomus and I have scientifically decided that one is male and one is female. They are each in 55 gallon tanks that are similar in deco and just have different tank mates. The one is constantly moving stuff around and up rooting the plants and the other one never moves anything. I decided the one that is constantly moving stuff around has to be female because that is what my wife does. Never happy with where something is for long and has to find it a new place to sit. The other one has to be male because he is more like me, happy with where the furniture is and hates it being moved because I end up stubbing my toes in the night when it is moved. Plus I swear the male Pleco has a TV remote control in this hiding log.
