My tangerine lobster got mangled....

I have a 55 gallon community tank, that WAS well stocked, and peaceful. About a month ago we added a tangerine lobster (crawdad). In about 3 weeks, he had 17 fish killed and eaten. The tank also changed instantly. They all went from peaceful to prey. We've now moved him to a ten gallon cichlid, starter tank, with two convicts, and two tiger oscars. They've done fine for the last couple weeks, but today he molted for the first time in the new tank. Apparently during his vulnerability, the cichlids took advantage. He's now missing one pincher, which I'm pretty sure will grow back, his right eye is gone, and his feelers are WAY shorter. Obviously I need to remove him from that tank and give him his own, but will the damage grow back, and if not, does he have a shot at survival?
Thank you for any help.
Brian.

I'm pretty sure he will grow back. Not the eye though. Just be sure to have clean water and a well balanced meal to give him the best chance of survival.

A 10 gallon isn't even enough for 1 convict better yet 2 along with 2 oscars.

Did I read that right? A 10 gallon w/ cichlids, oscar, and crawfish? Oh no!

The ten gallon is a temporary starter just until the big tank is ready. The cichlids are only about an inch and a half. I'm not sure they'll be housed together. The male convict is a bit aggressive with the oscars, I think due to the female, and the oscars are so mellow. We'll see with the big tank.

I'm pretty sure the cichlids will eat your other fish once they grow bigger. Also, a 55 gallon isn't big enough to house a single oscar IMO. A single oscar should be in a 75 gal. I would only do 2 convicts in your 55 gallon. They are going to be aggressive to your other fish when breeding. Just a heads up.

No no no. I would never put the cichlids in with my community tank. They'll have their own tank. It's just not ready yet. I don't think I'm going to keep the convicts though. I like how calm the tiger oscars are, and I'm not thrilled with how aggressive the convicts are.
