My Silver Molly Isn't Moving

I purchased my molly 2 days ago. For the entire time I have had it, its hasnt moved far from this one spot near the surface. I purchased 2 other mollies the same day and they are pretty active. I had the water checked (it was fine) I had the tank running for about 4 days before adding fish and I added the recomemded dose of salt. It just doesn't move.

 

The molly might just be shyer than the others and might be taking longer to adjust.

If she doesn't appear in distress and your water parameters are ok I wouldn't worry too much.

Do watch the other mollies around her though just in case one of them is picking on her if she leaves that area.

 

The tank isn’t cycled. Do 25 % water changes each day for the next 2 weeks.

What size is it?

Most likely, the reason that the fish isn’t moving is because the water quality is bad.

Dont add salt, mollies do not need it. What are your exact water parameters

 

I'm not entirely sure, I got it checked at a store and they tested it and said it was good
