My shrimps gave birth?!

So I woke up to all these minI things walking on my tank walls and looked up what are baby shrimp ?!?! THIS IS THEM RIGHT GUYS?? I'm so excited !! But I had a betta in here I took him out since there is babies now. Now my question is what do I do next?? I have 7 adult shrimp in here 2 are cherry nd white I forgot the official name 2 are blue 2 are yellow 1 is orange. Will they eat the babies?? I turned off the filter to be safe my tank is 1.7 gal. Thanks for any tips!!! OH AND another thing is I got live blood worms first time and put too many on accident tbe remains of them have been living in the gravel.. but now my betta is out so no one will eat them will they hurt the babies?!?! And will they turn into mosquitos if they don't get eaten soon??? THANKS GUYS

The other shrimp won't eat your babies so your ok there. What filter do you have you cznt leave the tank without one show some pictures
As long as the bloodworm are alive your safe

Okay the filter is a minI c type for a betta tank I'll take a pic. And yes the blood worms are alive does it matter if the filter is on to the babies?!

put pantyhose over the intake of the filter if you’re worried. you need to be filtering the water

Not sure on the filter need a picture
The filter is still off. I don't want them to die!! Do I need to feed them special food ?

If you leave that filter off everything will die. There is a baby shrimp food just google it

Omg I've been gone all day it's still off.. I have only had the shrimp for like 2 weeks I've had many shrimp before and have some in my 10 gal never have they bred.. I'm worried that it's not babies and its ostracods!! How do u tell?!?!

UPDATE:I put sponge over the intake I heard biofilm will grow for the babies to eat! Now just gotta buy some baby shrimp food ig. Thx for some tips ppl.

If you can take some photos of them we'll be able to tell if they are shrimp

To help with feeding the young shrimps try using bacter AE, it promotes a biofilm growth on everthing in the tank and both the babys and adults will graze on that, but also use a food especially for them, they come in very fine powder a bit like talc, use sparingly.
Without these you will still get babys but the survival rate will be greatly increased.
Bacter AE is not cheap but you only use a small amount, with only 1 tank get the smallest as it could pass the use by date before you use it all up.
