My plants… not doing as well as I hoped?

Hello! I’m newer to live plants and I’ve been stumped. I have rosette swords and narrow leaf chain swords now and they seem to be going yellow and brown? I haven’t gotten root tabs yet but I do dose the tank with fish vitamins. Thought I could get away with that (now k know that clearly doesn’t help at all). Due to the stocking, the light has to be super low and I have floaters. Are the floaters, Java ferns, Amubia, and bocapa taking all the nutrients out of the water, sand and gravel? My plants in my 10 g seem to be doing great and the only real change is a mix of gravel substrate, the floaters, rosettes, and narrow leaf chain sword (also new). Maybe that is it along with not enough light? They are newer plants and I’ve had them for around a week. Hopefully they are just adjusting but I’m getting root tabs anyway. What’s up with my plants?
Oh, and to add to all this, my bush fish thinks he’s a gardener (normal behavior???) and will pull out my bocapa, amubia, and Java fern (once and a while). He also likes to play in my chain sword, going up and down on top of it and squishing it. :D That might be another reason these plants look like they’ve been through the wars.

As long as the majority of the plants has a lot of green on them, I wouldn't worry toooo much. adding root tabs would really help. get root tabs as soon as possible.

Thank you! I would show off my 10g but uhhhh heheh… we are having serious algae issues. 2 months… The plants look great and are thriving on nothing but fishy fertilizer. :D They’re tall and green and pretty minus a few dots of algae here and there so I know I have an aquatic green thumb. :D
