I know it is a problem, do you give them fertilizer and co2?

No but the co2 should be given by the fish. Right?

I have recently been researching plants (as I want to do a planted betta tank) and you do need to have a co2 pump and plant tablets! (The fish poop isn't enough) I have learned lots of this from aqua pros and aquarium co-op on YouTube! (Sorry I don't know a lot to tell you)

I don’t use co2 for my tanks. Ferts do really well. Seachem Flourish is good, you can also go with root tabs for root feeders, or plants that are in the substrate.

THe plants you have are demanding when it comes to co2 but the brown spots are caused by old substrate. When was the last time you changed the substrate? You may also need root tabs and flourish iron, flourish potassium, flourish magnesium and flourish excel. If you can collect all of these and dose a different one everyday they should perk right up.

It has only been a month since my substrate came. My aquarium is one month old. Will stopping my bubbler help with the co2?

You don't need to inject CO2 into the tank unless the particular plant species you have need it. The plants you have pics of do not need it.

The bubbler will not provide a significant source of CO2 for the plants (it gasses it off, actually), but the fish will provide some CO2.

You don't need to change the substrate, but if you don't have them, I would get some root tabs and put them below the plants. You shouldn't need to dose Flourish Excel, Potassium, Magnesium, or Iron with the plants you have, if you are using root tabs.
