HA! That is great! He's just a little guy. Still gonna let him do that when he's 10" long?
NOOO LOL hel be moving to a bigger tank and the lid will have some nice heavy ornament on it
Might loose some fingers if you did. that's great. None of my fish jump on"command" yet but I'd be a little freaked out if an 8" goldfish got airborne... even if they don't bite
Its so cool to see but i need to stop before he gets big get him out of the habbit
Yeah! Lids gonna go flying wether there's something on it or not. Or you'll just hear a really loud "THUNK!"
Id be gutted man, one of my occelaris clowns did it the other night when i was on my ps4 so glad i was here to pick him up lol was covered in cat hairs but came back to life when he got back in, did a diy job there and then to ensure it never happens again.
Dang.., yeah I've had a couple hit the ground before. Back when I was young and ignorant I had a bala shark jump out of my 20g in the middle of the night. Luckily I caught him before the cat on my bed figured out what the "splash thunk flap flap flap" was.
This is him eyeing up a pellet im holding on the surface
Ha! My girlfriend's Betta many years ago was in a tiny 1.5g ( i know...) on a shelf about 2 meters high so the cat couldn't get to it. To say the least, he found a way... We took a trip to the store and when we returned, not even half an hour later, to find the tank on the floor and water everywhere! I immediately thought the cat had already eaten him but low and behold he was still flopping around! I grabbed him up in my hand, filled a cup with water and conditioner and tossed him in. Thankfully, Bettas have a labyrinth organ and are quite hardy. He lived another 2 years (4 years total) in that tiny tank.
The worst part is that it happened a couple of weeks ago and i still see the odd cat hair flowing on my live rock its so annoying i vacume everyday i think i have ocd lol but a wet fish on a wood floor in a house that has 2 cats and a dog is not good it was a relief when she shot back in to life. + im definitely getting some weights to put on the lid when my oscar gets bigger hes only tiny but so fast and roudy already
Yeah, keeping cat hair out of the tank is an upward battle that I am definitely loosing.
My gf's son drew him for art gcse
