I just wanted to share my newest puppy and his rescue story with you guys

So Sunday, July 2nd I was driving home from work and in the middle of my road I saw a dog. I stopped the car and he came bolting to me. He immediately jumped in my car and I took him home. He was skin and bones and covered in fleas and ticks. After a good meal, a bath, and about 30 minutes picking ticks off of him he looked like a brand new dog. The next morning I woke up to check on him and he had had diarrhea everywhere. I called my vet and took in a stool sample to rule out parvo and distemper. Everything came back negative and the vet decided he probably just hadn't eaten in so long that the food had made him sick. That night I made an appointment for him to get a check up and all his vaccines. He saw the vet today at 2:45 and we were told that he was perfectly healthy and after getting vaccinated for parvo distemper and rabies and having a heart worm test he is now ready to be adopted. I am so in love with this guy. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, he loves everyone he meets, and so far he has learned the commands "sit" and "lay down". He is going to make some lucky person so happy.
