So Sunday, July 2nd I was driving home from work and in the middle of my road I saw a dog. I stopped the car and he came bolting to me. He immediately jumped in my car and I took him home. He was skin and bones and covered in fleas and ticks. After a good meal, a bath, and about 30 minutes picking ticks off of him he looked like a brand new dog. The next morning I woke up to check on him and he had had diarrhea everywhere. I called my vet and took in a stool sample to rule out parvo and distemper. Everything came back negative and the vet decided he probably just hadn't eaten in so long that the food had made him sick. That night I made an appointment for him to get a check up and all his vaccines. He saw the vet today at 2:45 and we were told that he was perfectly healthy and after getting vaccinated for parvo distemper and rabies and having a heart worm test he is now ready to be adopted. I am so in love with this guy. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, he loves everyone he meets, and so far he has learned the commands "sit" and "lay down". He is going to make some lucky person so happy.

I know! He's perfect and I want to keep him so bad lol this is my first rescue that I've paid for. I found him on my 19th birthday and my parents said if I was going to bring animals home from now on I would have to pay for the vet visits.

He is a special pup, he will make someone very happy.
Best if you could keep him though.

Sadly my dog doesn't like him. She was here first and a pet is a life long commitment. Were her opinion of him to change things might be different

I'm sure you can find someone for that special pup, Your existing dog comes first, don't let anyone tell you different.

Yeah my dog is already mad cause he's been sleeping in my room and that's where she usually sleeps. I'll be relieved when I find him the perfect home and things can settle back down for her.
